1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a Scouty account, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
2. Account Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Scouty. Users under 18 must have parental consent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to: impersonate any person or entity, provide false information, upload harmful content, attempt to access other users' accounts, use the platform for any unlawful purpose, or engage in harassing or abusive behavior toward other users.
4. Coach Verification
Coaches registering on Scouty must use a valid .edu email address for verification purposes. Scouty reserves the right to verify coaching credentials and may revoke access for unverified or fraudulent accounts.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $20/month. The one-time Profile Build service is $140. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
6. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you upload to your profile. By posting content, you grant Scouty a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform for recruitment purposes. You represent that your content does not infringe on any third-party rights.
7. Limitation of Liability
Scouty is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for recruitment outcomes, coach communications, or the accuracy of user-submitted information. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services in the preceding 12 months.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. Upon termination, your profile will no longer be visible to coaches.
